Abstract
The aim of this research is to present a model for the trust and credibility of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) among Generation Z. This study is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in nature. Its findings were obtained through semi-structured interviews and analyzed through content analysis and codification of categories. The research experts, including communication professors, editors and journalists, and experts in the field of Generation Z, were selected through purposeful sampling. The research findings were categorized into the axial codes of credibility creation and trust building among this generation. The results show that Generation Z is an ambivalent audience who has had access to the Internet and various media from the very beginning and although the IRIB has taken steps to attract an audience among this generation, it is necessary to attract the Generation Z audience and the trust and credibility of the IRIB by providing their favorite content, creating special news sections for this generation and being present on online platforms where this generation is present.
