The Ideal Model for Compiling a Media Literacy Textbook With an Approach to Providing Immunity to Media War

Abstract
One of the advantages of media literacy education is the ability to build immunity and increase the ability of students, people, and even elites regarding media warfare and the cognitive effects of enemy’s media against the country and the nation. This article is an applied research and was conducted based on an inductive approach and in the quantitative research paradigm, using the SWOT method, in order to identify threats and opportunities. To collect information, document analysis, library method and questionnaire design were used. Research data were obtained from twenty-five specialists and experts in the field of media literacy. In this research, determining the desired model for native teaching of the Media Thinking and Literacy textbook is on the agenda. Finally, 144   indicators concerning the book were separated into strengths (19  indicators), weaknesses (47 indicators), opportunities (62 indicators), and threats (16 indicators). Then, using the SWOT analysis method, these indicators were prioritized and identification of strategies and a suitable model were determined to achieve the goals. From the totality of the responses, it was concluded that by using the strategic management model and adopting an aggressive strategy resulting from the encounter and integration of internal strengths with external opportunities, action should be taken to maximize the use of environmental opportunities by utilizing existing strengths.
