Abstract
Enjoying ancient texts in the content production process is a common issue in the media all over the world. In this regard, Persian literature texts have special capabilities that have received less attention. Meanwhile, mystical prose texts, which are full of unique points and novel ideas for content production, have been neglected more than other works. The present research’s concern is how to utilize the themes of these texts in order to produce media content based on the methods and types of conventional content production. To this end, the content analysis method was used to identify the most important capabilities of mystical prose texts and the themes contained in them for creating artistic works in the media. Based on the results, it is necessary to consider the following criteria in selecting mystical prose texts for content production in the media: depiction and visualization capability, artistic and expressive beauty, public appreciation capability, the use of storytelling techniques, and attention to the surreal capacity of the miracles of mystics. Each of these criteria has its subsets, which are discussed in this article.
