Trend analysis of domestic and foreign virtual social networks affecting Iranian societysociety (Years 2018 to 2024)

Abstract
Abstract

The study of trends shows the popularity of foreign virtual networks and the increasing popularity of internal social networks, which can be opportunities or full of threats. In this research, the method of gathering information in the first stage includes library-documents and in-depth interviews. In the second stage, with Using qualitative analysis, 6 main categories have been identified and in the third stage, with trend analysis, quantitative analysis of the growth trend of internal virtual social networks during the years 1397-1403 and foreign effective in the Iranian society during the years 2015 to 2024 has been covered. The findings showed that in the influx of foreign virtual social networks affecting Iranian society in the period from 2015 to 2023, the use of Instagram has increased from 25.2 to 46.5, WhatsApp from 16.6 to 35.3, and Telegram from 37.5 to 36.6. Accordingly, Instagram has had a downward trend in 2015 to 2016 and an upward trend in 2018 to 2023. Telegram has also had a downward trend in 2015 to 2019 with an upward trend in the face of filtering in 2020 to 2023. in the years 2015 to 2021, and being filtered in the years 2022 to 2023, its audience has drastically decreased, but still these networks are the most popular and effective messengers used and play an The study of trends significantly shows the popularity of foreign virtual networks and the increasing popularity of domestic social networks, which can be opportunities or full of threats and dangers.
