Abstract
The depiction of a character in the form of a movie and the look of the director and cinematographer of the film certainly complements the process of its formation in the script.
In the sense of what the characters play in the minds of the author, it is depicted in the form of an executive, a director, a lighting engineer and a cameraman, with the help of the color and light, and the appropriate framing and composition of space and work. In the meantime, the purposeful use of lighting and the use of color are very important in expressing the positive and negative internal characteristics of the characters in each sequence or plan. In other words, the shape of lighting and painting the image with light plays a major role in expressing characters and in shaping the perception of the characters from the characters and the overall space of the work.
This article, with a descriptive-analytical approach, aims to examine the place of lighting in cinema art, taking into account the principle of characterization in cinema.
