Nowadays, with the emergence of new media, radio media -as the oldest medium- needs to move towards using this capacity to attract more audiences. The aim of this research is to identify the capacity of new media and explain it for creating two-way interaction in radio talk shows. This research was conducted using a case study method and, based on the theoretical framework and sources studied, delves into and analyzes the programs of the “Radio Goftegoo” and “Radio Canada International”. The main questions of the research are: What new capacities do new media have in order to create two-way interaction between the program-maker and the audience in talk shows? And in what new ways can new media be manifested in radio talk shows? In this research, all the characteristics of the capacity of new media and interactive talk shows have been studied in detail in three stages of radio program production. Based on the results, using new media and paying attention to the capacity of each one specifically, in accordance with the type of talk show and its presentation method, can play a significant role in attracting the audience during the program and increasing their interaction. According to the studies conducted, drama and narration have received less attention in Radio Goftegoo’s programs
